“Dum inter homines sumus, colamus humanitatem”
As long as we are among humans, let us remain humane.
Hey! My name is Noorie and this is my blog. I started this blog in September 2016 and my update schedule is normally a new post every month. However, depending on my schedule, I may update more or less than that. Some people may think learning Latin is a waste of time. I have been learning Latin for a little over 5 years, and it has benefitted me a lot in my daily life. This blog is dedicated to showing how my knowledge of Latin can be used in situations today. My tagline on this blog is reviving latin. I picked that because most people think that Latin is a dead language. This blog is me trying to explain to them that no language can actually die, especially not one as ancient and involved as Latin.
The following is some feedback I’ve received from my readers:
“… Seriously.. many thanks for starting this up. This web site is one thing that is required on the web, someone with some originality!”
“… I love what youve got the following, love what you are declaring and the way a person say it. You ensure it is entertaining and you still manage to ensure that it stays intelligent…”
“It’s a shame you don’t have a donate button! I’d without a doubt donate to this brilliant blog! I guess for now i’ll settle for book-marking and adding your RSS feed to my Google account…”
My long-term goal for this blog is to publish an ebook with most, if not all, of my posts on this blog. Until then, I’ll be updating and editing this blog frequently. Also, my earlier posts may have grammatical errors in them as I’m improving as I write more and more. My motivation for this blog is to write about my Latin knowledge and produce something consumable on the internet, instead of wasting time doing nothing online.
Where else can you find me?

I am currently a student at a private high school in the suburbs of Pennsylvania. Reading, writing, exploring new ideas, learning about other cultures, and traveling to new places are a few things I love doing. I have travelled to over 25 countries, and so it has made for interesting stories, from going to Germany from France on a whim and booking a 10 day trip to Italy 12 hours before the flight. Besides traveling, I enjoy playing tennis and iMessage games during my free time.
I am currently taking AP Latin, while trying to teach myself Greek on the side. I also know how to speak (and write) in fluent English, Punjabi, and Hindi. Although my favorite country that I’ve been to is Italy, one day, I would like to visit Australia and scuba dive the Great Barrier Reef. I would also like to bungee jump the Harbour Bridge in Sydney, Australia. Ultimately, I aspire to go into business and law someday, and then, start up my own company.
Some fun fast facts about me are: I have organized a rally, pitched at an investors’ conference, started several community-oriented initiatives, and I pursued an independent research study on behavioral economics. My passion is people, and so I am always interested in the way we interact and how we have interacted in the past.

That’s all for now!
